LIFE IN THAILAND
For the last ten years, I have lived and worked in Bangkok, Thailand. I live here now by choice simply because I like it here. Why? Well……
It is not about the charming and exotic Thai women, although they are part of the reason.
It is not about the amazing food, although that is part of the reason.
It is not about the very comfortable tropical climate, although that is part of the reason.
It is not about the freedoms and ease of daily life, although that is part of the reason.
It is not because of the amazing diversity of life, and being surrounded by a vibrant and dynamic culture, although that is part of the reason.
It is not that I find living within a mostly Buddhist oriented people very relaxing, but that is part of the reason.
There are lots of aspects to living here that are not singularly the reason why I stay here, but they are all contributors. For the real reason, then reread the second sentence of this page: I live here now by choice simply because I like it here. That is about it.
During my years in this country, I have traveled quite a bit, and have many photos. I will construct stories as I get time, about some of the amazing things that I have seen, places I have visited, and events that I have been lucky enough to witness.
Over time these will get added to this page. I hope they make interesting reading for visitors but that end is secondary. While writing these pages, I get the opportunity to relive those eternal moments.
