The Glass Books

The words on these pages are excerpts from writings that were directly transcribed from books of autographs, verse and word games compiled by Gertrude Evelyn Glass (nee Michel). Born 22nd January, 1890, she lived for 91 years. These writings reflect the thoughts and wishes of the family and friends that she knew and loved during her life before she married.

Lost for three generations, these books has been discovered and now carefully and faithfully
transcribed to preserve its authenticity. Some of the quotations come from now famous writers but the accuracy of these quotations is only as it appears in Evelyn’s book. Most are original verse and show a poetry and inspiration very rare in today’s world.

I have the full works that I have a dream of publishing in three specially printed and bound volumes. For now, these excerpts I share with the world here
